How CanadaAJ works with your data
CanadaAJ provides information, organization and personalized matching. It does not replace official sources — please verify important requirements with the official authority or institution.
Where our data comes from
CanadaAJ only uses official APIs, public and open datasets, authorized feeds, partner APIs and institution-provided data. We do not scrape websites indiscriminately. Every external record keeps its source, original link, source type, external identifier and the date it was last verified.
How recommendations work
Your match score is calculated from structured factors in your Career Passport — education, experience, skills, languages, location preferences, budget and goal. The score is always deterministic. Career AI only explains the result; it never invents the number and never decides your eligibility.
Our limitations
CanadaAJ is not a government body, an immigration representative, an employer or an educational institution. A profile match is not admission, employment or immigration eligibility. Official requirements change — always confirm them with the official source before you act.
Privacy and your control
Your profile and documents are private to your account and protected by row-level security in the database and per-user storage rules. We never sell your data. You can export your profile data, delete your activity history, remove documents, manage notification preferences and turn personalization off at any time from Settings.
External sources we reference
Government information is linked directly to official Government of Canada pages, with the date it was last verified shown on every card. Job and program data comes from authorized providers, and each listing links back to the original posting.
